If you’d like to see the video I have on YouTube detailing this plan CLICK HERE.
The first plan I have is to read straight through cover to cover, then read through the NT 1 more time. This plan is not difficult, but does take commitment. I’ve done it quite a few times (and this is what I did in 2023).
The second plan is a bit more challenging (and this is what I’m doing in 2024). This is a 6 month read through of the Bible. Start on Jan 1 and end the last few days of June. This is around 7-8 chapters of reading a day.
For 2024 I’ve got 2 different reading plans for everyone. I hope you’ll join us in reading God’s word in 2024! Please let me know if you are joining in, and if doing something different let us know in the comments.
Following the 6 month plan, my plan will be a deep dive study for the rest of 2024. I will also write an outline for each of the 66 books (1 page or less).
As Christian’s we are instructed to read God’s words to us many times in scripture. AND –
2 Timothy 3:16-17
16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

For those who might be considering this who haven’t done so before – you can absolutely do this! All it takes is 3 chapters a day for the 1st plan. And if you miss a day, it’s OK, get back to it the next day. The only warning I’d give is to please not let yourself get far behind. Make this an important thing in your life and it will be easy to make reading God’s Word a daily habit. Once you get into this amazing habit, it will be something you look forward to and miss when you are unable to do it.
Strategies for doing your reading. What works for me may not be right for you, but here’s what I do. It’s best for me to read it in the morning before anyone is really up yet. But I don’t always get to do that, so in those instances, I will take 10-15 minutes during lunchtime and read several chapters, or if I have an appointment or am waiting for something or someone – I will bring my Bible and read it while I wait. I also have a Bible app on my phone (in case of emergency when I don’t have an actual paper Bible handy). We have them in our vehicles also (because maybe someday I can give one away to someone who might need it). But also in case I forgot mine. In the evenings we might watch a tv program. If we do and I haven’t done my reading yet, I will only watch 1 episode (we watch old shows and enjoy them). So for me I will just find multiple times throughout the day to read if I haven’t done so in the morning. Also – I will read before bed (the last 30 minutes before bed sometimes too). Be flexible with it and you can fit it into any busy lifestyle.
Lastly I’d like to leave you with this. I have found my purpose in life and it’s this. To try my best to be a light to others through this ministry. This ministry is more than just teaching you how to play an instrument, it’s also teaching you HYMNS, to praise our Lord. But I also try and share some of my life with you as well to try and be an example. I FAIL and FALL SHORT on a daily basis, I am not worthy of this platform God has given me. But HE has given me this opportunity to reach others in the world, so I will praise Him the whole way and the Glory is HIS. I am so blessed and happy to be doing the work I am doing. This part is the most important of all –
Always remember, Jesus loves you. – Mandy
*If you have not given your life over to Jesus and have questions you can always reach out to me or any other Christian you know for advice.
My fellow Christians – please know that God’s Word should be a very important part of your life, and without it you won’t know how to answer someone who may have questions.
1 Peter 3:15
But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
