Mandy – I just watched the taped version of your live stream. It was so fun to see you and educational. I’ll chime in about paper books > Besides all your good reasons, it is your lesson’s instruction, tips, and demonstrations that makes learning dulcimer/banjo possible, for me at least.  I had a paper book to start with = boring, not helpful, NO ANSWERS to questions or problems. In other words, it was a huge gift when I fell onto you on YourTube and then membership lessons. Your lesson format just keeps getting better and better.
I’m wondering about a Christmas live jam.  I would be very happy just listening to you to be honest, however in the spirit of playing with others >>  we could play along with you 🤔.  I can jump around through lessons, but this would be all in one place.

Hey, glad you enjoyed it! Hmmm Christmas live jam. I’ll have to see what I can come up with and if I can arrange it with Darla. Silent Night, Away In A Manger on dulcimer, Jingle Bells, and something else on banjo. I’d just keep Silent night in D – it does sound good there too. Haha.

WAIT – did I just read BANJO for you??? Santa bringing you one?

No, I was just very unselfishly suggesting banjo be included.

Haha ok! Wow that had me going for a second. I really wish we had good enough internet so I could do it from home.

When/if we get it next year I’m gonna definitely make livestreams a regular thing. I can imagine full lessons being really neat that way where we I can talk you through the entire song, then we can do play alongs and all sorts of neat stuff.
