2025 Workshop – Reading Hands/Ear Training Level 3 April 25

Workshop for MID to late beginner and up, held on zoom.  DAD Tuning

Mid-Beginner and up, no day 1 beginners please . We will quickly learn our scale, then move into ear work with a gentle eyes and ears approach of repeating what you hear and see in level 1. Level 2 the pieces will increase in difficulty level. Level 3 will include strategies to play what you hear on OTHER INSTRUMENTS! No paper provided. This is a tab free zone! There is a 2 week period between the start of each level to give you more time to work on it. If this fills up – I will add in more of this workshop.

**You MUST take level 1 to take 2 or 3. But you do not have to take all 3, if you’d like to only take Level 1, or Level 1 and 2. If you want to take all 3 contact me for a discount!

Materials List –

• Dulcimer tuned DAD (we will work on this in class 1)
• Pick (any guitar type pick will work
• Electronic tuner (or app on your phone) so we can tune up!
• Strap or something to keep the dulcimer stable in your lap, rubberized shelf paper works as well
• NO tabs for this class.
• A ready to learn attitude!
