2025 Workshop – Flatpicking Mtn Dulcimer – Feb/March 25

Workshop for Late beginner and up, held on zoom.  DAD Tuning

Late beginner and up please. First we will establish good flatpicking technique. I will give you exercises to practice and we will be playing in first position across all 3 strings in this class. We will learn 3-5 fiddle tunes and increase in difficulty as we go. PDF handouts will be given.

Sign up below. Class size is limited to 10 students. This is 1 class, you only will take it once, I’m offering it 3 different months for your convenience.

Materials List –

• Dulcimer tuned DAD (we will work on this in class 1)
• Pick (any guitar type pick will work
• Electronic tuner (or app on your phone) so we can tune up!
• Strap or something to keep the dulcimer stable in your lap, rubberized shelf paper works as well
• PDF’s provided
• A ready to learn attitude!
