Yep me too! Excellent movie and soundtrack. I paid particular attention to Gillian Welch’s work on it. Down In The River to Pray is amazing!!!

Hi Mandy, me too!! You tube has some great stuff from them, I love their music. Boy can they play and sing. They like to play the classics, and Neil Young, The band. Always loved this music. It’s so great that you and Jon can study and play along. I’m trying too but far from where I’d like to be. Keeping at it!

Oh I remember that episode! Haha. I loved the Waltons, and Little House on the Prarie. Watched them a lot. If I remember it right Granpa on the Waltons played the fiddle I think, and Jim Bob played a lot too and he’d play and sing. And Pa off of Little House played the fiddle too. And of course Andy Griffith played the guitar and always had good music groups on the show too.

Yes, I had pulled out my DVD’s, I notice the instruments more now thanks to BanjoLemonade! And Jason I think he played Guitar and Harmonica. Love these shows. I’d love to know what song John Boy is playing, maybe I can find out? All great classic family shows, we need them today!
