Earlier this week I posted “My View this week”. Well I thought I’d share the reason I had that view.  Besides learning to play banjo I’m also in a competition shooting sport called Cowboy Action Shooting and I was at our World Championships this last week in Etna Green Indiana(Normally in New Mexico).

Didn’t have time to play banjo much, but here are a couple of videos during the competition:

I did not, wanted to but we were real busy and it would’ve been about a 2 hour round trip from where we stayed at(Webster Lake). Maybe next summer.

I just showed it to Jon.  He loved it too.  That’s so neat.

Oh and Jane – I can’t imagine how long I’d spend looking at their dulcimers if I ever get to go up there.  I’m sure they’d be tired of me quick because I’d want to hear every single wood combination they make.  Hahaha.

If I ever make time to do it I’m going to visit the range in Cleveland, TN and y’all will have to come shoot a stage or two and have a jam after.  3 hour drive and a time change so takes extra planning…

Cleveland is a quick trip through the Ocoee gorge for us, so about 1 and a half hours.  YES anytime.  Very cool.  Shoot, eat a big ole steak and sit and jam.
