Strumming

Hi Mandy,

I am having a hard time strumming and playing melody at the same time. What practices could I do to learn to play a continuous strumming tune with my right hand and play melody with my left hand? I do practice strumming but putting the two together is challenging. I’m wondering if I developed a habit that’s hard to break. Thanks for your input.

Hey Julia,

I suggest you go through my beginner dulcimer course under the Courses TAB.  It will work some melody, then get you into strumming and bringing it all together for you.
