Desctiption
Beginner Level In this mini-course you will learn the following. We will go from standard DAD tuning into DAA tuning and I will take you step by step through it. Then we will begin with out strumming a few easy songs. After that we will begin adding back strumming. You will learn to get very consistent and smooth with that strumming hand. You will also be getting melody notes on the back strum. At the end of this mini-course you will have gotten a good introduction to the traditional drone style of play.
*Note – I will not be teaching you noter drone style, instead we will use our fingers on the frets. This enables you to go beyond the DAA into the DAD standard tuning (as well as other tunings) with ease.

ALL ABOUT CAPO’S
Late Beginner

In this course we will go step-by-step through the WHY and the HOW of using a capo for mountain dulcimer! We will use DAD tuning in the course (it is the most common and considered standard now).
Course requirements – While it is entirely possible to learn all this without owning a capo, I do not recommend you look into this course until you have a capo. Any will do and I do not recommend a particular brand. Get one. **If you have a radius fretboard be sure to get the proper radius’d capo as well. Most have flat fretboards.

So if you want to learn all about those Capo’s and how to properly use them, grab this stuff and let’s go!
