Ok I have 3 videos here for you! The top is just a play through. Below is a lesson showing you about eighth notes and pick direction.
Be sure you pay attention to the tied notes. Your pick direction is important. So in measures #5 and #6 the first tied note is a DOWN pick and the 2nd is always an UP pick (no matter if you are crossing strings). Those are eighth notes. The more you pay attention to this now as a beginner the better picker you will become.
