Thank you for the inspiring talk this Sunday morning. I also have wasted so much time in front of tv shows I’m not really watching! At 70, I’ve wasted lots of time. But I’m thankful for so much in my life. Many objects, habits, and activities I’ve tried to filter away. I look back on how lucky I was in so many ways. Now my desire is to learn to play the dulcimer. As a young girl I took piano lessons and am enjoying renewing my love for music. I cook and care for my husband and a disabled son. I always desire patience and like to try to add cheerfulness in my activities too. I get melancholy or depressed and put on my favorite music and that does the trick for me. Music is my friend while I cook or walk. On the other hand, some music makes me 😢…. but we all need an outlet for that. The more I listen to music, the more song lyrics seem to pop in my mind all day. For example, during your talk I thought of bob dylans “Serve somebody” among others. I like your chain reading of the Bible. Where did you get the first verse of the chain? That wasn’t clear to me. ❤️

You can start a chain anywhere you like. So once you come to a verse you like (and want to study) that is your first verse. So that’s what I’d write as the beginning of the chain.
