Teaching Kids to Play Dulcimer – UPDATE – Goal Reached!!

I’ll also have an announcement video go out on my YouTube channel for this Friday evening.

I’ll be teaching our local area homeschool kids (who are interested) how to play the mountain dulcimer! Only those who really want to learn this dying art will be in the class. I have more than one family that has more than one child interested also, so the cost to them will be much more.

For each child to get an instrument, tuner, picks, strings, capo’s is around $80-$100 each. Offsetting some of this cost would be such a tremendous blessing to us all. You will be involved in educating the future generation in music, Appalachian culture, and so much more.

I’ll be teaching them old time songs, fiddle tunes, Hymns, and Irish songs mostly.
