Here’s something new I’m working on. Community

Ok, I’ve been thinking about this for awhile and I’ve wanted to create a special and unique place for just diatonic mountain dulcimer.

First, this is not a New lessons website, it will not replace anything about Banjo Lemonade. I wanted to make that very clear. Lessons are scheduled here to come out every single week on all the various instruments.

This will be just a page, with diatonic dulcimer, a place for discussions, and building a community around playing in the old ways. No lessons, just a play through of the song and a tab, there will be lots of free stuff there as well. So feel free to head over and check it out, follow it (use the free material to play your dulcimer and enjoy). If you are interested in supporting the “project” around creating a community, then feel free to sign up for the $5/month level and get more tabs/videos discussions.

Also – don’t think you need to go out and buy a dulcimer with no extra frets on it. You can use any dulcimer to play it, but everything on that page will be dedicated to using the traditional fretting. BUT – with me anyway it took me getting a specific no extra frets instrument to really force me to pay more attention to it. Once I did – WOW. It really changed my life. Seriously.
